This summer, my husband and I are going to visit my cousin in Valencia, Spain. He has been studying there since January. We will be there for ten days and we are trying to decide what to do while there. An option we thought of was to go to Barcelona for a few days. In Barcelona, we would do an Evening Tapas Walking Tour, Half Day Site Seeing Tour, a Flamenco Dinner and Show, and relax at the beach.
We have also thought of going to London for a few days. As of now we do not have anything planned for London. Most likely it will be the typical tourist sites: Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, etc.
There is so much to do and see. We want to make sure we make the most out of our vacation. While at the same time enjoying the areas that we decide to tour.
Has anyone been to these locations that could provide some insight? Or any suggestions of other places to visit in Spain or nearby areas?
Glad to see the blog is up and running.
ReplyDeleteAs for your topic, you picked a good one. I have been to the neighboring country of Portugal and have long wanted to make it to Spain. Tapas and Tempranillo wine from Spain is a good thing! You might even look into the city of San Sebastion located in Spain's Basque country. Spain gets my vote.
Although I have never been to Europe, exploring Spain would get my vote. Wow what an adventure you are going to have.
ReplyDeleteI've heard that Spain is amazing! What a bonus that you have family there to visit. London is always a nice trip. I think the weather in Spain might be a little nicer, but the weather in London is part of the ambiance...right?
ReplyDeleteYeah, we are very excited and this is something we have never done! It will also be very nice to have family over there as a 'tour guide' for us. And totally agree about the weather - probably much nicer in Spain!
